Aerial cinematography can completely change the scale and perspective of a story. With more than 12 years of drone flying experience and an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certification, The Overview Creative provides professional aerial cinematography for documentary, commercial, scientific, and educational productions.
Our Aerial Capabilities
Our DJI Air 3S allows us to capture high-quality cinematic aerial imagery—from sweeping landscapes and establishing shots to detailed perspectives of vehicles, boats, locations, infrastructure, research sites, and environments that are difficult to appreciate from the ground.
For projects that call for something more immersive, we also operate the DJI Avata 2 FPV drone. Its speed and maneuverability allow us to create dynamic, stylized shots that move through and around environments in ways traditional drones can’t—bringing viewers directly into a location or experience.
After more than a decade of flying drones, aerial cinematography has become much more than an add-on to our productions. It’s another storytelling tool—one that can reveal scale, geography, movement, and context from an entirely different perspective.
Whether we’re documenting a coastline, following a moving subject, revealing the scale of a landscape, or creating an immersive FPV sequence, the goal is always the same: use the perspective of flight to help tell the story.
